Hello, My name is Dan.  I've been an artist my entire life but only as a hobby.  I traditionally do more pen/paper type work, but have also done Illustrator and Photoshop work as well.  I enjoy creating more cartoony based drawings and abstract drawings with just lines and shapes.   I also enjoy photography.   I love making things that are unique or similar to originals with a twist.  Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

My philosophy is Design, Create, Produce.  It is more of a procedure to how I do my artwork (and I am sure many do too). 

(Design).  I come up with an idea in my head while brainstorming, and get a quick sketch or idea out on a piece of paper (Design). 

(Create).Then I take that sketch and add more elements as I feel needed.  Making it on a actual piece of good paper with proper tools. (Create).   

(Produce)Last step is my favorite.  Going through everything and filling in the details with markers, pencils, colored pencils, etc.  and making it as presentable as possible as a final product.

I know it may sound boring and normal, but this is what works for me.  

I cant say I follow this for every project, because I like to challenge myself with things like creating a piece from beginning to end in just black ink.  That way I can put down what  I am thinking and not have to worry about changing anything.  

So it depends what I am working on, but that is the jist of it.  

I have been watching Jazza for over a year now, prob close to two now lol, but I just saw the November 2017 Challenge Under the Surface, and it intrigued me to join the Community.
